76% Gros Manseng, 24% Petit Manseng. The 30 years old vines are facing south/southwest with an average altitude of 250 m. Terroir of red sandstone, ophite and limestone. Maceration on the skins, soft pressing, long fermentation at 16-18°C (61-64F). Aged on the lees in vats for 4 to 5 months.
A crispy, high-acid white with intense notes of citrus and subtle floral fragrances (white flowers). The palate is opulent with aromas lifted by an elegant freshness. Very aromatic finish. 14% alcohol.
Kattalin means “ladybug” in Euskara, the Basque language.
