100% Sangiovese from vines grown in the Bidente Valley – named after the Bidente river, on the border between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany. The valley enjoys a unique microclimate with a mix of hot and cold air currents, allowing for a long hanging time and resulting in complex aromas in the wine. The clay/sandy soil permits excellent absorption of the nutritional components by the roots. The grapes are hand-harvested and put in small crates. The are dried slowly before crushing to further concentrate their rich flavors. Ample and intense aromas of violet and roasted coffee. 14% alcohol.
