Vinsur is a family owned and operated company formed in 2008 by oenologist Daniel Lonnberg. Originally from Chile, Daniel spent two harvests in Baja California working for Casa Pedro Domecq – in 2003 and 2004. Shortly after, he was named by Hugo D’Acosta of Casa de Piedra to be the new oenologist at Vinicola Paralelo. After establishing himself as one of Baja’s most talented winemakers, Daniel ventured out on his own and today serves as the consulting winemaker for such well-respected wineries as Adobe Guadalupe, Emeve and Hilo Negro. The fruit is purchased from trusted growers.
