65% Nebbiolo, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Zinfandel. 13 months in new French oak barrels. Nose of dark berries and tobacco. 14.9% alcohol.
About the Producer
Jose Luis Gonzalez and his wife Patricia launched this endeavor with the goal of creating one of Mexico’s premiere wine brands. To help accomplish this goal, they enlisted the help of consulting winemaker Alberto Rubio. They purchase their fruit from a region called Llano Colorado which is in Valle de San Vicente, South of Ensenada. The total production is 1,500 cases.
