About the Producer

The oldest known producer of Vermouth in Piemonte, Casa Martelletti is located in the center of the small town of Cocconato, in the heart of Asti. The elegant 17th century mansion clinging to the hillside has become a landmark in the area. Part of the complex was a pharmacy brimming with exotic herbs and spices, as Vermouths were originally used for medicinal purposes - the recipe hails from the 1700s and can be viewed in a museum. Today, Casa Martelleti still produces its famed Vermouths, that can be enjoyed as aperitifs or in cocktails.
