100% Sangiovese. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed and crushed. Cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 10 months of aging in tanks.
Notes of red and black fruits (cherry, strawberry, blueberry) along with fresh herbal notes such as mint and a hint of star anise. A round and fruity red with good freshness.
Tres Raíces is located in the heart of the Bajio, in the state of Guanajuato. The project was initiated in 2012; the first vines were planted – there are currently 60 hectares, and four years later the construction of the main building began. The winery opened its doors to the public in October 2018.
