| Domaine Coudoulis, which dates from the Sixties, was purchased by Bernard Callet in 1996. It is completely located in the Lirac appellation, on the west bank of the Rhone River, a region very similar by the nature of its soil and its climate to Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe. The terraced estate, which overhangs the village of Saint Laurent des Arbres, is composed of red, rocky soil and littered with the famous “galets roules” of the region.
The 28 hectares are planted in traditional Rhone grapes varieties: Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. The vines are cultivated using the gobelet (head-pruned) technique, combined with manual harvests, meticulous selection and de-stemming.
The wines of Domaine Coudoulis are a pure reflection of the soil, the grapes and the sun. The wines of Domaine Coudoulis have been praised by Gourmet Magazine, Revue du Vin de France, Gault Millau, Guide Hachette and Dussert-Gerbert. |

| The Cotes du Rhone Rouge is a blend of Grenache 80%, Syrah 20%. The grapes are grown in the domaine’s famous galet roule vineyards, just outside the denomination of Lirac. After a manual harvest, the grapes are sorted and de-stemmed before a 10 day maceration and then a light pressing. The wine is raised in enamel-coated cement tanks. |
