From Aragon, north east Spain. Somentano is one the most impressive of Spain's recently designated DO regions.
Red cherry color, with violet tones. Complex and intense, with a perfect fusion between the fruit and wood, emphasized by marked aromas of red and black fruits, balsamic sensations, spice and delicate toast. Long, elegant, flavorful, with a very amiable tannin in the mouth and a fine, lasting finish.
