Taburni Domus > Campagna > Italy
On the gently sloping hillsides of Dormiente del Sannio in the territory of the Park Taburno-Camposauro, 500 meters above sea level, Pompeo Puzella and this his three young sons Gino, Egidio and Francesco work to produce lively aromatic wines that are soft and robust while solid in structure.

Their motto is “Modernity and technology, at the service of tradition”

The grapes, harvested by hand at full ripeness and are pressed sofficemente and with low yields. They marry time honored methods of the local farm tradition to grow organic grapes while in the winery they use new technological methods to insure the very best product.

Alcoholic fermentation is done in temperature controlled tanks to keep as much freshness as possible.

Falenghina
This Falanghina comes from DOC Falanghina Sannio, where the grapes are grown at some 1700 feet above sea level. The grapes are picked at the beginning of October, harvested at a modest 50 hectoliters per hectare; then, fermentation is controlled 14*C, rounding-out at 12% alcohol with bright acids.

Falanghina is a very old grape variety, and is thought to have been one of the components of the legendary Roman tipple Falernum. It shows beautiful and expansive fruit aromas, with a nice floral spice overlay.

Aglianico
Bright and robust red fruits, with ripe tannins and a silky texture.
