MOSEL

In 1990, Andreas Schmitges and wife Waltraud took over management of the Heinrich Schmitges estate. They have created their own style and introduced new methods and marketing incentives always making sure that the quality of their wines is impeccable. Andreas pays great attention to texture: his wines are not too delicate to enjoy with food, they have some body without being overblown. Meanwhile their endeavour has paid off and according to most wine critiques Schmitges domain is now range among the 50 top Mosel estates. Many awards here and abroad confirm that wines of outstanding quality are produced.
