| From Jean-Luc Thunevin of Chateau Valandraud. The property was bought in 1993 by Paul Marie Morillon. This property of 8 ha (19.8 acres) sits on clayey-limestone soil and offers a generous wine. | The wine is made by one of the oldest grape varieties from Bordeaux, the Muscadelle. It is usually associated with the Sauvignon and Semillon grapes to make Graves and Entre-deux-Mers wines. Château Lafont Fourcat decided to produce an atypical blend, with 100% Muscadelle.
A floral nose, with hints of acacia flowers, honeysuckle, linden… A fresh and pleasant mouth feel, delicate Muscat taste. |
