Chateau Lafont-Fourcat > Bordeaux > France
From Jean-Luc Thunevin of Chateau Valandraud.

The property was bought in 1993 by Paul Marie Morillon. This property of 8 ha (19.8 acres) sits on clayey-limestone soil and offers a generous wine. The vineyards of Chateau Lafont Fourcat dominate the valley. Its vines are planted in terrace in order to make work easier.

Bordeaux Blanc
The wine is made by one of the oldest grape varieties from Bordeaux, the Muscadelle. It is usually associated with the Sauvignon and Semillon grapes to make Graves and Entre-deux-Mers wines. Château Lafont Fourcat decided to produce an atypical blend, with 100% Muscadelle.

A floral nose, with hints of acacia flowers, honeysuckle, linden… A fresh and pleasant mouth feel, delicate Muscat taste.
