| Riesling |
| Fürst Löwenstein Riesling wines are from the finest sites of Hallgarten. All have a pronounced fruit character, yet each has a distinctive profile. A wide range of styles is available, from harmonious “Gutsweine” (house wines), to light and racy Kabinett or full-bodied Spätlese wines. Each of these Rieslings, in its own way, offers a wealth of flavor. The Estate Riesling has the advantage of blending from various sites in the neighborhood, in order to achieve a pleasing balance. |

| Sophie Lowenstein "L" (Hallgartner Schönhell Erstes Gewächs) |
| The name “Schönhell” has its origins in Old German and literally means “beautiful slope.” It is the oldest (13th century) of Hallgarten’s vineyards and lies west of the village.
With the 2007 vintage the winery changed the name for this wine though stylistically it is the same. Princess Sophie Löwenstein bought the winery on the 21st April 1875 for 340000 Gulden.
Deep, loamy soils with excellent underground water reserves ensure top-quality wines, year for year.
Particularly in dry years, the deep-rooted old vines yield outstanding growths – rich in extract, with a long finish and a spicy touch. |
